Tuna Azul Zona Romantica

This small spot in Zona Romántica serves outstanding food, from classic dishes to tacos and more. The tuna montadito, lobster tacos, stingray, marlin, and fish ceviche tostadas were all incredibly flavorful. The coconut shrimp was solid, and the margaritas were strong. Despite being a bit noisy, the quality of the food left a great impression.

We said we would never visit a place more than once during our trip. We came here 3 times. Not just because of the amazing food, but the incredible service. Armando makes the best drinks in PV. Jose is a wonderful host and makes you feel very welcome and has a lot of knowledge. Randy is attentive and a great addition to the kind staff. I highly recommend the Mai Tai and Mojito. We had the tuna chicharron tacos, fish tacos, lobster tacos and several tostadas. However, my husband got the cucarachas shrimp THREE TIMES. Trust me. The view, food and service is top notch.

After many recommendations we finally made it to Tuna Azul. We only tried the ceviche de mango it was so good. This was the best ceviche we had the whole trip. The drinks were very strong and the guava margarita was thirst quenching. FYI this place is pretty small and located on the second floor, look for the arrows to guide you upstairs.

Delicious! Highly recommend. Ordered the tuna ceviche and was impressed with the portion, platting and taste. Wow. Also indulged in the Marlin tacos (a must) and bbq’ed tuna tacos…. Topped with margaritas as big as your face…try the mezcal maracuja. Service and ambiance did not disappoint. Other reviews said loud, but it was idealic.Got to sit on the second floor balcony watching street performers. Highly recommend:)

fantastic causal place for delicious food and people watching! Tuna dish was super fresh and mojito with guava was the best drink! we also had lobster and shrimp house tacos and those were amazing too. Last but not the least, severs were very attentive and friendly. Definitely will go back.

Happy Hour Special!We stopped in for the Happy Hour Special...3 Lobster Tacos & a Beer, The tacos were superb and washed them, down with a Corona. Nice relaxing atmosphere with a great view from the second story. The entrance was a bit confusing, should have better signage. Would definitely come back!

Amazing!!! We had the Montaditos. Large portions, so fresh and delicious. We tried both the Classic and the Tuna Poke (the tuna poke was slightly better in my opinion). The service was very attentive. Ask for the housemade hot sauce - we bought a few bottles to take home with us.FYI it's CASH ONLY

This was possibly the best seafood I've had over two trips to Puerto Vallarta. The fish in every dish was impeccable, as were the sauces they provided on the side. As per the namesake it was some of the best tuna I've had in my life, but an honorable mention also goes out to the stingray quesadilla which was uniquely delicious.Do yourself a favor and fill up here before hitting the beach.
